Brad Ashford graduated from Westside High School in Omaha, Nebr. in 1967. He received a B.A. from Colgate University, in Hamilton, N.Y. in 1971. He received his J.D. from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebr., in 1974. He was a staff member for United States Senator Roman Hruska of Nebraska from 1974 to 1975. His other accolades include private practice; business executive; attorney for Federal Highway Administration; hearing examiner for the Nebr. department of education; judge, Nebr. court of industrial relations; member of the Nebraska state legislature; and chief executive officer for the Omaha, Nebr., housing authority. He was a member of the Nebraska state legislature from 2006-2014; and he was elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Fourteenth Congress (January 3, 2015-January 3, 2017).
Brad now joins the firm of counsel to assist with government strategies.
